Who is Jordan Foley?
Jordan Foley is a singer-songwriter who packs a punch with his growling voice and heavy-hand rhythm guitar. Jordan doesn't shy away from the stage and loves to put on a show that emphasizes on great songwriting and some laughs along the way.
He has an Americana band called The Wheelhouse that travels all over and writes/records music with him. Jordan also plays as a duo with his bandmate Tyler Hood.
Jordan's music has been described by Creative Loafing Tampa Bay as "a special brand of Americana for admirers of bands like American Aquarium, Lucero and Ryan Bingham."
On Jordan's live performance, Orlando Weekly stated, "He doesn’t try too hard because he doesn’t need to. Confident in the pocket and the natural power of his expression, Foley’s probably one of the more finished and articulated young examples to emerge in the local Americana scene lately."
song catalog includes his debut release in 2018, Give to Get a Day, with singles "See You Letter" and "Clouds." In 2020, Jordan released two live recordings of his songs "Sing Me a Love Song" and "The Thought of You and Me." In 2023, Jordan Foley & The Wheelhouse released their self-titled EP with Thomas Wynn at the producer helm, with heavy hitters like "Loners," "Train to St. Louis," and "Arguing in a Restaurant." And Jordan's most recent release in 2024 is his solo acoustic EP Leave Your Messages, with singles "You Know" and "Fall Like Rain."
In October 2024, Jordan had the opportunity to perform in You Got Gold, the trio John Prine tribute shows put on by the Prine family and the Hello In There Foundation. Jordan performed his favorite John Prine song "That's The Way That The World Goes Round" with the John Prine Band at The Basement East in Nashville on October 10, 2024. The lineup included John R Miller, Tommy Prine, Gabe Lee, Kaitlin Butts and Cleto Cordero, and many more. In recent years, Jordan has been hitting the road with John Moreland, Michigan Rattlers, and Sam Morrow. He has also shared the stage with Red Clay Strays, The Wallflowers, BJ Barham of American Aquarium, Five for Fighting, The Steeldrivers, Colby Acuff, Ward Davis, IV and The Strange Band, Silverada, Joshua Ray Walker, Nick Shoulders, Tim Barry, Jeffrey Martin, Brother Hawk, and more.
